Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Certified Medical Coder RN.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare information and review medical records for coding accuracy and reimbursement rules
• Ensure compliance with medical coding regulations and manage claims-related issues
• Provide project status reports and collaborate with other units to enhance process efficiency

Required Qualifications and Education

• RN Degree with one year of preferred experience in hospital inpatient coding
• Nursing experience in a managed care organization or acute care hospital
• Valid/Current CPC Certification, CIC, or CCS; RHIA/RHIT credentials preferred
• Willingness to travel to NYC twice a year for meetings
• Experience in a clinical setting or acute care hospital is required for specific applicants
