Job Summary
A company is looking for an Allied Health Practitioner Credentialing Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Process applications for credentialing and reappointments while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Organize and maintain confidential practitioner credential files, ensuring timely follow-up and accuracy of information
- Maintain computerized information in the credentialing database, documenting all steps in the credentialing process
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required, or an Associate's Degree with relevant experience
- 3 years of medical staff credentialing experience in a healthcare or insurance provider setting
- Demonstrated experience with software databases for data management
- Familiarity with legal, state, TJC, and NCQA guidelines for medical staff compliance
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
