Job Summary

A company is looking for an Allied Health Practitioner Credentialing Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process applications for credentialing and reappointments while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Organize and maintain confidential practitioner credential files, ensuring timely follow-up and accuracy of information
  • Maintain computerized information in the credentialing database, documenting all steps in the credentialing process
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required, or an Associate's Degree with relevant experience
  • 3 years of medical staff credentialing experience in a healthcare or insurance provider setting
  • Demonstrated experience with software databases for data management
  • Familiarity with legal, state, TJC, and NCQA guidelines for medical staff compliance
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
