Platform Engineering Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team responsible for infrastructure, shared platform services, and internal developer tooling
- Enable developers to deliver services with higher autonomy, performance, and speed through offerings written in Go and Terraform
- Design and implement core platform infrastructure, monitor it, and solve production issues
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience leading teams and hiring, motivating, growing, and empowering engineers
- Strong understanding of reliability-related needs and ability to provide effective solutions
- Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure engineering and experience building large-scale production systems
- Experience with a major cloud provider and cost-effective utilization
- Proven ability to track and drive engineering efficiency metrics
