Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Cloud Platform Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and oversee the Cloud architecture framework, ensuring adherence to security, performance, and scalability best practices
- Manage the implementation of platform architecture standards and Cloud governance while evaluating emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams, develop metrics for cloud performance, and establish cost optimization practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Information Systems; Master's preferred
- 5 years of progressive information systems management experience, preferably in healthcare
- 10+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
- 5+ years of experience leading teams of senior engineers
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, DevOps principles, and IaC tools
