Principal Engineer, Aeroelasticity & Flutter
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Dynamics, Aeroelasticity & Flutter.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform flutter analysis and dynamic loads in accordance with Part 23 certification requirements
- Develop balanced, whole aircraft load distributions for dynamic load conditions
- Support planning, execution, and data reduction for ground vibration and flutter flight testing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent field
- 10+ years in specific technical discipline
- Experience with FAR Part 23 and Part 25 Certification
- Knowledge of transonic aircraft aerodynamics and flutter flight testing
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux, C/C++, Matlab, VBA, 3DX, Femap, Nastran, and Python
