Program Manager

Job Summary

A company in the consulting industry is looking for a Program Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Direct all phases of project management from inception through completion
• Manage one or more programs of size and complexity, may manage an operating/field office, and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines
• Acquire follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and support new business development by leading major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience in working in Program/Project Management
• 12 years relevant work experience
• 3 years' experience in VA Life Insurance administration, requirements, and 3rd party organizational dependencies
• Experience managing program operational staff in a fast-paced development environment
• Expert knowledge of JIRA MAX and Confluence software for project management, ticketing, and defect resolution
