Regulatory Program Specialist
Job Summary
A company in the healthcare industry is seeking a Regulatory Program Specialist.
Position Responsibilities:
- Track, analyze, and summarize applicable Federal and State healthcare and health IT regulations
- Provide guidance to various stakeholders on critical initiatives and projects
- Review, revise, and/or draft policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Law, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Compliance, or related field
- Two years' experience working in a healthcare regulatory affairs department
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred, or ability to obtain certification within two years
- Proven success in regulatory affairs in a healthcare setting
- Applicable healthcare industry experience such as experience with hospitals, FQHC's, and governmental healthcare regulations are desired
