Job Summary
A behavioral and mental health company is filling a position for a Remote Assistant Controller.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing technical accounting guidance
- Leading the adoption of new accounting standards
- Reviewing key judgment areas with auditors prior to the start of the audit
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Public Accounting Experience with 2+ years of operational experience
- CPA license
- Team management and mentorship experience
- Technical Accounting Experience, including evaluating technical accounting issues
- Past experience creating monthly financial statements and preparing US GAAP financial statements
- Worked with and/or familiar with best practices for building and scaling systems
