Job Summary

A data transcription and annotation company is filling a position for a Remote Bilingual Chinese Technical Documentation Post-Editors.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Correct formatting/tagging, punctuation, country specifics, terminology, style, fluency as per guidelines
• Perform Post-Editing (light and full) on Machine Translation outputs per client specifications
• Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source, while, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references

Qualifications for this position include:

• Native speaker in Chinese language
• Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
• Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experience required
• Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language
• IT skills with knowledge and experience of CAT tools
• Excellent understanding of Machine Translation Post-Editing processes and tools
