Job Summary
A data transcription and annotation company is filling a position for a Remote Bilingual Chinese Technical Documentation Post-Editors.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Correct formatting/tagging, punctuation, country specifics, terminology, style, fluency as per guidelines
- Perform Post-Editing (light and full) on Machine Translation outputs per client specifications
- Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source, while, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references
Qualifications for this position include:
- Native speaker in Chinese language
- Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalent experience
- Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experience required
- Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language
- IT skills with knowledge and experience of CAT tools
- Excellent understanding of Machine Translation Post-Editing processes and tools
