Remote Clinical Policy Coding Administrator

Job Summary

A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Clinical Policy Coding Administrator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting medical policy development and implementation
• Collecting and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of medical policy implementation
• Providing subject matter expertise for the Medical Policy Implementation Workgroup

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or four (4) years’ relevant work experience
• Current certification as a professional coder (RHIA, RHIT or CPC)
• Four (4) years of experience applying clinical coding expertise
• 2 years spent in a health plan or healthcare setting
• Claims processing systems and product configuration experience
• Experience/knowledge of claims processing
