Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Clinical Policy Coding Administrator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting medical policy development and implementation
- Collecting and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of medical policy implementation
- Providing subject matter expertise for the Medical Policy Implementation Workgroup
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or four (4) years’ relevant work experience
- Current certification as a professional coder (RHIA, RHIT or CPC)
- Four (4) years of experience applying clinical coding expertise
- 2 years spent in a health plan or healthcare setting
- Claims processing systems and product configuration experience
- Experience/knowledge of claims processing
