Remote Coding Special Investigations Unit Investigator
Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Coding Special Investigations Unit Investigator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing post pay claims with corresponding medical records to determine accuracy of claims payments
- Reviewing applicable policies, CPT guidelines, and provider contracts
- Devising clinical summary post review
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma / GED or higher
- 3+ years CPT coding experience or 5+ years of experience working in a FWA / SIU or Fraud investigations role
- Thorough knowledge of PC based software including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Licensed registered nurse, Licensed practical nurse and/or Certified Coder
