Remote Data Steward

Job Summary

A specialty building materials company has an open position for a Remote Data Steward.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Managing categories within a domain (product, customer, supplier, location.)
• Managing small to medium-sized projects and collaborates with cross-functional teams
• Ensuring the data in systems supports the needs of stakeholders

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in a business field or equivalent industry experience required
• 1-3 years minimum experience in a data domain (product, customer, supplier, location.)
• Solid understanding of and experience working in an MDM and/or PIM system is required
• Proficiency with data governance/management concepts
• Experience with relational databases a plus (Microsoft Access, SQL, etc.)
• Technical experience and fully proficient in Excel
