Job Summary

An insurance company is in need of a Remote Level 1 Incident Handler.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing portions of incident response plan
  • Monitoring and taking immediate steps to detect, alert, and contain intrusions
  • Correlating and analyzing events using skill and technology to detect IT security incidents

Qualifications Include:

  • 1-2 years of information security related experience
  • 1-2 years of Network operations or engineering or System administration on Unix, Linux, or Windows
  • General technical skills, includes TCP/IP knowledge, networking and security product experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to acquire in-depth knowledge of network and host security technologies and product
