Job Summary
A physician group and practice management company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Billing Coding Paramedic Coder.
Must be able to:
- Apply accurate ICD-10 codes and clinical narrative to transports
- Maintain a working knowledge of CMS Regulations
- Apply ancillary charges as appropriate
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5 years of critical care or trauma background as paramedic
- Current Paramedic licensure in state of residence
- Ability to determine medical necessity
- Ability to accurately review medical records
- Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
