Remote Medical Coding Specialist
Job Summary
A privately-held healthcare company is seeking a Remote Medical Coding Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review health risk assessments/evaluations
- Communicate timely and effectively with supervisor regarding issues
- Make recommendations for coding policy/changes
Qualifications Include:
- Must hold an active CPC, CPC-A, COC, CCS, CCS-P or CCA
- Current coding certification in good standing
- ICD-10 Coding Certification
- Experience and knowledge of Medicare HCC coding
- Minimum of 0-5 years of ICD-10 coding experience
- Experience with medical record documentation
