Remote Medical Production Coding Specialist I

Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Production Coding Specialist I.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Accurately coding from available documents using current CPT, ICD-10, ASA and HCPCS codes as appropriate
• Capturing all billable charges
• Reviewing billing records for supporting documentation as needed for accurate coding and to maximize revenue

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 0 – 2 years coding experience
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Current CPC or CCS-P required or working toward certification as a condition of employment
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, ASA and HCPCS coding
• Knowledge of all payer rules and regulations
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
