Job Summary
A technology company has a current position open for a Remote Optical Networking Technologies Submarine Network Architect.
Must be able to:
- Develop network architectures and define requirements for scaling the transport network
- Investigate long-term technology trends and work with the vendor ecosystem to nurture innovations
- Work with network design, deployment, and operations teams to operationalize stable, scalable platforms
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience with optical transmission systems or submarine cable systems
- Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, G or C++
