Job Summary
A developer of speech recognition applications is seeking a Remote Outpatient Auditor Medical Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting coding audits adhering to nationally recognize coding guidelines and standards
- Generating narrative audit summary reports
- Providing input and advice regarding educational topics based on audit trends
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 1 years Outpatient auditing experience
- Experience auditing SDS, ED, Recurring, Ancillary and Clinics
- Audit experience with inpatient and outpatient ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding
- Experience with using multiple encoders and systems
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to have a high level of coding accuracy and attention to detail
