Job Summary
A research orgnaization has an open position for a Remote Proposal and Technical Editor.
Must be able to:
- Apply skills to a broad range of editing/writing/document production tasks
- Edit online using appropriate markup practices
- Edit proposals, grants, and other publications as assigned
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of editing experience OR
- Master’s degree and 1 years of relevant experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience working with ESL documents and authors is required
- Experience editing USAID, World Bank, and CDC proposals is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of fundamental principles, terminology, and methodology of technical editing
