Remote Senior Manager of Engineering
Job Summary
A retail software solution company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Manager of Engineering.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the planning of new initiatives including translating requirements into workstreams
- Collaborating with CTO to estimate, design, develop, debug and launch applications
- Guiding the team’s continuous improvement of the planning and execution processes
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
- 3+ years of React or similar Javascript experience
- 2+ years managing technical architecture & design and leading initiatives from inception to delivery
- 2+ years of people management experience in a high-growth environment
- Experience as a software engineer (including experience as a technical lead)
- Able to mentor and grow your teammates
