Job Summary

A technology services provider has a current position open for a Remote Software Engineering Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Establishing and maintaining an effective process for developing production quality software
  • Supporting a team of software engineers and data scientists
  • Managing development project goals, contribute to product strategy, and develop a team of high impact software engineers

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience working with large raster or image data sets
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience in Earth observation, geospatial, imaging science, or computer vision fields
  • Experience working with cloud native services
  • Demonstrable experience growing and mentoring teams
  • Strong first principles thinking and decision making
