Job Summary
A corporate learning and training module provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Technical Accounting Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Identifying and documenting all significant technical accounting matters
- Reviewing current accounting policies and assessing current compliance with GAAP
- Proactively identifying potential accounting issues, reading contracts and other source documents, etc
Qualifications for this position include:
- Certified Public Accountant
- BS in Accounting from a four-year college or university
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations
- 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm, working in an assurance/audit environment
- Experience writing / reviewing technical accounting memos on complex transactions or matters
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC Rules and Regulations
