Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Computational Biologist.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, validate, and improve computational methods and algorithms for biological data analysis
- Optimize computational pipelines for high-dimensional NGS and biological datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data and contribute to scientific publications and regulatory submissions
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masters in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or a related field with a focus on computational biology
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in biotech/pharma for Ph.D. holders, or 5+ years for Masters
- Proven track record of developing quantitative models for biological data, supported by relevant publications
- Expertise in NGS/bioinformatics, statistics, and machine learning for high-dimensional datasets
- Experience in diagnostics is highly desirable
