Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Database Engineer II.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, and manage databases for efficient data storage, access, and security
- Collaborate with users to design, code, test, debug, and deploy databases that meet organizational needs
- Monitor database performance, scalability, and security, and optimize database designs as needed
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with various database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL)
- A bachelor's degree
- An Active DoD Secret clearance
- A current IAT Level I certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE)
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
