Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute cloud infrastructure roadmap to ensure platform reliability and data availability
- Champion DevEx with DevOps focusing on observability, documentation, and automation across Engineering
- Partner with Data and Product engineers to deliver and maintain the product roadmap
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, preferably with GCP
- Expertise in provisioning, configuring, and deploying managed compute services like GKE and CloudRun using IaC tools like Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD processes using managed services like CircleCI
- Knowledge of managing databases such as MongoDB Atlas and deploying data stacks with tools like Astronomer/Airflow
- Familiarity with security practices, IAM policies, and intrusion detection systems
