Senior Translational Medical Scientist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Translational Medical Scientist to advance its oncology pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with R&D teams, clinicians, product managers, and KOLs to support early cancer detection assay development
- Evaluate research and commercial opportunities in early cancer detection using expertise in genomics and cancer biology
- Collaborate with external partners and communicate research findings to contribute to publications in high-impact journals
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Cancer Biology, Genetics, or related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in translational science, oncology, or related fields
- Experience with circulating nucleic acids and early cancer detection methods preferred
- Familiarity with novel genomic technologies and bioinformatics
- Proficiency with data mining or statistical tools such as R, SQL, or Stata is a plus
