Job Summary
A company is looking for a Support Services Specialist 2.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an advocate for patients and liaise with clients and government agencies to facilitate medical expense coverage
- Research, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate patient records while interacting with clients and internal departments
- Assist with escalated customer issues and support leadership in analyzing inventory data to improve client satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience in patient financial services or insurance collections
- Proficient knowledge of commercial and government insurance plans, as well as medical terminology
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain HIPAA compliance
