Telecommute Associate Principal Computational Biologist

Job Summary

A biotech research company is in need of a Telecommute Associate Principal Computational Biologist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Analyzing transcriptomic and other data types to select relevant model systems
• Developing and maintaining external relationships
• Synthesizing biomedical literature and data insights

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Ph.D. with 5-8 years experience post-degree
• Fluency of standard tools in a computational and statistical toolbox
• The ability to mine the literature record and relevant databases
• Direct experience with target prioritization or biomarker identification focused on neurological diseases
• A working knowledge of the in vitro assays and animal models used to validate prioritized targets
• Excellent communication skills
