Telecommute Transportation Infrastructure Drainage Engineer II
Job Summary
A digital security and solutions provider is in need of a Telecommute Transportation Infrastructure Drainage Engineer II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing drainage conveyance systems, stormwater detention facilities, and low impact development
- Preparing standard engineering computations and designs utilizing industry standard design practice
- Providing input and technical guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters and lower-level engineers
Qualifications for this position include:
- 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field) and 5-8 years of related work experience
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Knowledge of standard DOT/FHWA drainage, hydraulic and hydrology standards and practices
- Experience with FEMA designated floodplains
- Experience on alternative project delivery and design-build projects
- Experience with typical drainage and H&H design software commonly used in final design is strongly preferred
