Job Summary
A company is looking for an Inpatient Rehab Coder - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Code IRF records using current ICD coding standards within the designated timeframe
- Maintain the coding schedule as assigned by the Area Director
- Collaborate with the PPS Coordinator/Outcomes Manager to assign Impairment Codes for admissions and new diagnoses
Required Qualifications
- RHIT (or eligible) or RHIA (or eligible) or Coding Certification by AHIMA
- Proficient in inpatient rehabilitation coding
- Advanced computer knowledge
- Knowledge of basic office equipment
- Participation in continuing education and training programs
