Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Rehab Coder - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Code IRF records using current ICD coding standards within the designated timeframe
• Maintain the coding schedule as assigned by the Area Director
• Collaborate with the PPS Coordinator/Outcomes Manager to assign Impairment Codes for admissions and new diagnoses

Required Qualifications

• RHIT (or eligible) or RHIA (or eligible) or Coding Certification by AHIMA
• Proficient in inpatient rehabilitation coding
• Advanced computer knowledge
• Knowledge of basic office equipment
• Participation in continuing education and training programs
