Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding and Data Integrity Coordinator for Outpatient Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain expert knowledge of coding guidelines and monitor daily workflow to meet departmental goals
• Perform coding audits, develop educational materials, and provide training to coding teams
• Collaborate with coding leadership and other departments for coding support and assist with onboarding new coders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or a closely related field
• 3-5 years of acute hospital-based coding experience with demonstrated leadership progression
• Experience working with EPIC and 3M Encoder
• Relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, COC, CPC, or CIRCC
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
