Job Summary
A company is looking for a Video Ops Consultant to optimize and support live and VOD streaming infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high availability and superior quality of video streams
- Troubleshoot complex streaming issues to maintain seamless performance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance video delivery efficiency
Required Qualifications and Education
- 4+ years of experience in video streaming operations, OTT or media workflows
- Deep knowledge of encoding/transcoding, content packaging, and CDN optimizations
- Strong understanding of HLS, DASH, RTMP, and latency optimization techniques
- Proven ability to troubleshoot video quality issues across devices and platforms
- Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring tools (Conviva, Datadog, New Relic)
