Job Summary
A company is looking for a Wisconsin Licensed School Sign Language Interpreter for a full-time remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classes
- Provide accurate and clear interpretation, conveying the meaning and intent of the teacher or speaker
- Ensure confidentiality and professional conduct during sessions
Required Qualifications:
- EIPA score of at least 3.3
- Bachelor's degree in ASL or Education Interpreting
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sign language interpreter in a school setting
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Proficient in the use of technology, including video conferencing software and other related tools
