Associate Security Support Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Security Support Engineer to join their Information Security team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the information security ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution of security incidents and requests
- Provide tier 1 technical support for security events and assist in the deployment of security tools
- Continuously improve the ticketing process and prepare reports on security ticket metrics
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- At least 1+ years of experience in IT support, security operations, or a related field
- Strong understanding of information security principles and common security threats
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or ITIL are a plus
