Certified Coding Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Integrity Coding Billing Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve assigned claims with Revenue Integrity pre-bill edits and denials
• Review clinical documentation to apply appropriate coding and modifiers
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer billing guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience or 7 years in lieu of diploma/GED
• AAPC or AHIMA coding certification
• Experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer billing compliance
• Understanding of hospital charge description master coding systems
