Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coding and CDI Denials Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Review coding denials for accuracy and adherence to guidelines
- Compose and submit appeal letters and identify coding trends for educational opportunities
- Communicate front-end activities influencing the denials/appeals process and seek process improvement
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of acute hospital-based Coding and/or CDI experience
- Experience with denials and appeals in an acute hospital setting
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, CDIP)
- Preferred: RN with CDI experience
