Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coding Manager to oversee daily coding operations and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee coding specialists and daily coding operations
- Implement policies to promote accurate coding and reduce denials
- Conduct coding education and monitor coding accuracy among providers and specialists
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 3 years of experience in physician and outpatient coding in a leadership position
- Knowledge of orthopedics, pain management, and therapy coding
- Familiarity with coding and billing compliance in physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers
- Relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, or CCS-P are preferred
