Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coding Educator.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training materials and presentations for coders and HIM staff
- Collaborate with coding staff to ensure compliance with coding standards and guidelines
- Monitor data quality and provide support for HIM, Coding, and CDI functions
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 5-7 years of experience in a Coding Educator or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Health Information Technology, Health Informatics, or Medical Coding
- Current certification as CCS, RHIA, or RHIT
- Experience with MS DRG and APC auditing
- Facility auditing and education experience is required
