Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Specialized Coder - Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate coding of medical records, including assignment of ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS
• Maintain advanced coding and specialty knowledge in accordance with coding guidelines
• Achieve and maintain a quarterly quality score of 95% or greater

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of a Coding Course
• 1 year of coder experience required; 3 years preferred
• Core certification such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CRC required
• Specialty certification in areas like Emergency Department Coding, Cardiology, or others required
