Certified IVR Medical Coder
Job Summary
A company is looking for an IVR Medical Coder, National Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes for Interventional Radiology services
- Review and code clinical notes to ensure charge capture and compliance
- Collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to resolve coding denials and documentation issues
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
- 2+ years of Interventional Radiology coding experience
- 2+ years of experience with ICD-10
- Proficient in using a PC in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Excel and EMR systems
