Job Summary
A company is looking for an Inpatient Profee Medical Coder.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures by reviewing medical records and documentation
- Ensure correct code selection and compliance with Official Coding Guidelines and regulations
- Review coding for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to billing
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Coding experience required
- Experience with Professional Fee Coding
- Experience with EHR systems
- Accepted certifications from AHIMA or AAPC, such as RHIT, RHIA, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC
