Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient/Provider Coder Level 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and code outpatient clinic and provider services using CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Provide mentorship and training to Level 1 Coders and assist in coding-related meetings
• Resolve coding and billing issues and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CPC, CCS)
• Two years of coding, clinical, or billing experience, or three years of coding experience
• Basic knowledge of clinical documentation and health insurance processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work remotely and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards
