Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Coder - National Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform concurrent review of FFS coding rules and ensure accurate coding and billing
- Utilize medical coding software and resources to identify appropriate medical codes
- Educate and mentor others to improve medical coding quality and resolve coding edits or denials
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, RHIT)
- 1+ years of coding experience
- Ability to meet quality standards of 95% accuracy or better
