Certified Medical Coder II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder II - Gynecological Surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review physician schedules and assign appropriate CPT codes for Evaluation & Management (E&M) levels
• Enter CPT and ICD-10 coding into the practice management system accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and respond to audit findings with necessary corrections

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Coding Diploma or Certificate preferred (CPC)
• At least 2 years of coding experience in a medical office setting
• Experience with E&M Coding
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT coding
• High school graduate or equivalent
