Job Summary
A company is looking for an Intake Representative, Claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and document first notice of injury and loss information from customers
- Provide guidance and assistance to customers regarding loss reporting options and procedures
- Analyze claim information and determine necessary actions or further information required
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma required
- One year of full-time experience in customer service and/or claims intake preferred
- At least one year of experience in the insurance industry preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft products and ability to work in multiple systems
- Experience in a call center environment or with Workers' Compensation or Property & Casualty is a plus
