Director of DevOps Engineering
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director, DevOps Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Align DevOps strategy with engineering and business priorities to support the organization's technical roadmap
- Manage planning, project work, and performance of the DevOps team using the Kanban framework
- Ensure adherence to cloud security, compliance, and governance standards while advocating for improved DevOps practices
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and cloud engineering
- 7+ years of experience in people leadership, with 4+ years managing managers
- Deep expertise with Amazon Web Services cloud platform and containers/orchestration (i.e., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Expertise with CI/CD systems and automation/scripting (Python and GoLang)
- 4+ years in compliance, including gap analysis and auditing
