Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Engineer II for their D&D Beyond digital toolset and marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fully understand the DDB system and its technical limitations, and drive solutions for complex problems
- Lead initiatives to improve product performance and scaling
- Contribute to long-term technical planning and mentor other engineers
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software development experience with a majority in a technical leadership role
- 5+ years designing and building web services and APIs in the cloud
- Experience leading projects with significant complexity and business impact
- Proven track record building services in the cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
