Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coding Auditor and Quality Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the clinical documentation team to identify documentation improvement opportunities
- Assures compliance with coding guidelines and regulations while assessing documentation components impacting quality metrics
- Develops educational strategies and tools to promote quality outcomes and supports interdepartmental collaboration
Required Qualifications
- RHIT or RHIA or CCS Certification
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field (candidates currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program will be considered)
- Five years of coding experience in the relevant area
- Clinical expertise gained from experience with clinical documentation teams
