Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Attorney for Training, Preventing and Mitigating Labor Exploitation in the Legal Programs department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver culturally responsive training modules on exploitative labor practices and migrant children's legal rights
  • Provide legal technical assistance to staff and partners regarding child labor rights and remedies for labor exploitation
  • Equip stakeholders with the skills, knowledge, and resources to identify, prevent, and mitigate child labor exploitation and trafficking
Required Qualifications:
  • J.D. and admission to local state bar
  • Minimum 4 years of experience practicing immigration law or labor law
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with immigrant and refugee children or survivors of abuse and exploitation
  • Expertise in humanitarian immigration claims and experience working with law firm attorneys and legal volunteers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and experience working in a remote environment
