Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe Systems Programmer- VSE.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the installation, testing, and implementation of z/VSE operating systems and software
- Provide technical support and mentoring while managing ongoing projects and system performance
- Monitor and tune systems software, ensuring effective collaboration with teams and clients
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in mainframe systems programming
- Fluency in VSE JCL with the ability to advise on JCL issues
- Knowledge of installation and administration of ISV and IBM z/VSE software
- Experience with IBM Z hardware and general networking concepts
- Working knowledge of z/VM, including CP and CMS
